About me

I started my career in print in 2003, when I was hired as a Publishing Assistant for FHM Magazine. Aside from assisting the Associate Publisher in carrying out the daily tasks for the title, I was also asked to make all the necessary preparations for the launch of GamesMaster, the Philippines’ first multi-platform videogame magazine. The title was launched in September of 2003.

It was in 2005 when I became an Associate Publisher. I was given full reins of GamesMaster, and T3, but was eventually tasked to bring in Men’s Health magazine. After a few months of preparation, the title launched in May of 2005.

My job as publisher allowed me to personally exchange ideas with people from Future Publishing in the UK, as well as the people behind the Rodale Publishing teams in Pensylvania, New York, and Asia.

It was in May of 2007 when I took the leap to online by joining the US Auto Parts Network as its Email Marketing Manager. Using the skills I acquired from the publishing world, I was able to spearhead a complete overhaul of the company’s then email marketing program.

As a result of my team’s success in 2007, I was promoted to Senior Manager position in February 2008. This also contributed to the naming of the US Auto Parts Network as the 94th ranked retailer on the Internet, taking its place among the likes of Amazon.com, Blue Nile, VistaPrint, Apple, and Bestbuy.

My team is currently trying to make sure that we are running one of the most engaging and useful email marketing programs online.
