Clocking IT
More than the firewalls and system admin site filters at the office, one of the things that can cause a lot of problems for a lot of managers out there is productivity. What with the plethora of useless/ful stuff you can keep yourself busy with online, it’s just so hard to stay focused at all times. And then there’s that all important role of being a manager.
Aside from doing your own thing, you have to ensure that all your troops stay as motivated as they were on their first day of work. It’s okay to take a break every now and then, but what do you do about those who instead “choose” to be distracted? Thanks to a fellow manager, it looks like we’re going to make this project management tool called Clocking IT a part of our daily operations.
Did I mention it’s FREE? Well now you know.
I’ve spent the past few weeks trying to figure it out, and just this morning, we’ve uploaded all necessary tasks for the next few weeks. I’ve also oriented everyobe who needs to be oriented. We’ll see how it goes.
